South London Therapy Group – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which South London Therapy Group (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides rental of therapy rooms to independent practitioners. By renting a room or engaging with any therapist who uses our facilities, you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Role
South London Therapy Group is a provider of therapy room rental services. We do not employ, supervise or manage therapists, nor do we provide therapy or any related professional services. All therapists using our rooms are independent contractors responsible for their own practice, compliance with professional regulations, and client care.

3. No Professional Relationship with Us
If you receive therapy or other services from a practitioner using our rooms, your professional relationship is solely with that practitioner. South London Therapy Group is not a party to any agreement between you and the therapist and accepts no responsibility or liability for:

  • The quality, safety, or suitability of any therapy provided

  • Any advice, treatment, or outcome resulting from the therapist’s work

  • The conduct, acts, or omissions of the therapist

4. Therapist Responsibility
All therapists renting our rooms confirm they:

  • Operate as independent contractors or businesses in their own right

  • Hold appropriate qualifications, professional memberships, and liability insurance

  • Are solely responsible for their compliance with applicable laws, ethical guidelines, data protection obligations (including GDPR), and safeguarding requirements

We do not verify or warrant these matters beyond basic rental agreements.

5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, South London Therapy Group excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising out of or in connection with:

  • Any therapy, counselling, or other services provided by independent therapists using our facilities

  • Any advice or treatment given by independent therapists

  • Any claims, complaints, or disputes between clients and therapists

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

6. Client Acknowledgement
By engaging with a therapist who rents space with us, you acknowledge that:

  • The therapist is solely responsible for your care and treatment

  • Any legal recourse or complaint must be directed to the therapist directly or to their professional regulatory body

  • South London Therapy Group is not liable for any disputes, damages, or claims arising from the services you receive

7. Data Protection
We do not collect or store any sensitive personal data related to therapy sessions. Any personal data provided to a therapist is managed by them under their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website or on request.
